b was founded by Henriette Speed. A sales and marketing professional with extensive experience, she started her career in hospitality in Malta in 1996 as part of the pre-opening team for the Westin Dragonara.

This led to new opportunities in London with the Starwood Global Sales Office where she oversaw MICE (meetings, incentives, congresses and exhibitions) accounts for the group’s international business. This key role enabled Henriette to forge strong, lasting relationships throughout the industry.

Kerzner International came knocking in 2004 and Henriette joined to lead and launch their in-house MICE sales team initially for the One&Only brand as Director, Group and Incentive Sales for the UK and Ireland, and subsequently also for Atlantis, The Palm in Dubai. In this key leadership role, Henriette was heavily involved in sales strategy planning and implementation for both of Kerzner’s luxury brands.

2010 saw her branching out on her own with the launch of b on behalf of her first clients Beachcomber Hotels, Jesta Hotels and the Santa Monica Convention and Visitors Bureau.
